Ted, an engine builder, was employed by Mickey Thompson at the time. Ted built the roadster using an original, never rusted deuce. Full fendered, Chevy powered. The interior, done by Tony Nancy, is still in the roadster today, as is the Wingate-built 327 motor. This is the car as it appears today, 50 years later.
